Shouting at the Storm

Work has started on JMT album 2. Actually, work on that began a while ago but I've been busy with the Kids With Torches stuff. Two songs are done. Now KWT have wrapped up album no 1 it's time to get the old guitar out and write some more traditional fare. Next up on the schedule is a song titled 'Hoper.' This has been kicking around a while but I've only recently sorted the middle 8 part of it. I'm liking it as it's concise, which makes it a nice contrast to KWT. In fact, my aim with this next album is to make most, if not all the songs be around the 3.5 - 4 min mark. It will make the music more accessible I think, and it will also save me from having to come up with as many lyrics. As well as Hoper, I have another one called Space to Fit Through which is pretty old. I found a minidisc (!) recording of it fairly recently and it must be about 10 years old. It still had something I really liked but needed reworking, so I think I've found a way of updating it and actually finishing it.
